Infant Care (6 weeks to 12 months)BVCCA’s Infant Program is designed to support the developmental needs of infants ages 6 weeks through 12 months through nurturing, responsive caregiving and intentional early learning experiences. We recognize that infancy is a critical stage of brain development and attachment, and our caregivers create a warm, secure, and engaging environment where infants thrive.
Our program supports: • Social-emotional development through bonding, trust, and responsive caregiving • Physical development through tummy time and movement exploration • Early cognitive development through sensory exploration and cause/effect play • Communication development through daily language exposure, music, and books
Infants follow an individualized routine developed in partnership with each family, ensuring consistency between home and childcare. Toddlers (1 and 2 years old)BVCCA’s Toddler Program is designed to support children ages 12 months to 24 months through intentional, developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards. During this stage, toddlers rapidly build communication skills, independence, emotional regulation, and physical coordination.
